40 Hours Adoration will take place in St. Mary's Church today, Sunday, starting after 11:30am. Mass and closing with a holy hour from 6-7pm.

Collections: Parish collection last weekend amounted to €1,779. Church Restoration Fund amounted to €1,535. Thank you for your generosity.
Blessing of Graves will take place in Clonmany at 3pm. and Urris at 5pm. next Sun. June 16.
Padre Pio: Courtesy of John (David) McLaughlin, Malin, a life-sized statue of Padre Pio has been erected and blessed in the Gap of Mamore facing the Shrine of Our Blessed Lady.
Padre Pio will be canonised next Sun. June 16 at a ceremony in Rome. To mark this wonderful occasion the Rosary and prayers will be recited in honour of the newly canonised saint in the Gap at 8pm. next Sun. June 16. We would like everyone to come along.
Sympathy: We offer sincere sympathy to the family and friends of Mary Doherty, Ballyliffin, and Annie Doherty, Coolcross, both of whom died recently. May they rest in peace.

McGlinchey School Competition "Clonmany in Old Photographs" Every house in the parish has a drawer or box with old photographs gathering dust. Some of them contain valuable information of days gone by, of long disappeared houses, people at work, social functions and gatherings. Choose one of your old photographs and write a brief description (100 words or less) on why it may be of interest to future generations. Entries should be given to Noelle Doherty, Principal, Gaddyduff N.S. It's open to everyone and the closing date is Fri. June 28. Don't forget to include your name and address on your photos so that they can be returned. McGlinchey Summer School will be held this year on July 5, 6 & 7. The theme is Borders, Boundaries and Divisions and the opening talk on Friday evening will be given by Nobel Poet Laureate Seamus Heaney. The McGlinchey Summer School is researching the state of the traditional arts and crafts in the Clonmany area. Are the old skills dying out? Or have we enough crafts people left to keep them alive for a while yet? If you or someone you know is a dab-hand at any of the following crafts, please contact Margaret Farren, Tandragee, tel. 077 78826 - bread-making, knitting, crocheting, needlework, quilting, lace-making, weaving, thatching, basket-weaving, traditional farming methods e.g. planting a hedgerow etc. herbalism (for cooking and/or healing), fishing/curing fish, traditional music/singing or any other that we've failed to mention?
Annual Sponsored Walk in aid of the Church Restoration Fund will be held on Sun. June 30. Sponsor Cards are now available from Eddie Gill, 76781, Joe Farrell, 76841 or Kathleen 76114. Everyone is welcome to take part. Refreshments will be available in St. Mary's Hall afterwards.
I.C.A: A special I.C.A. meeting has been called for Mon. June 10 at 8pm. in the Day Centre to discuss preparations for Federation on June 12. All members are requested to attend.
