Mental Health Association: Annual Church Gate Collection will be taken up this weekend Sept. 9 & 10, after all Masses. This helps towards the day-to-day running of the Day Centre.

Irish Heart Foundation - Annual Church Gate Collection will be taken up next weekend Sept 16 & 17 after all Masses. Please give as generously as you can.

Parish Catechist Training Course: Derry Diocese is beginning a two-year distance learning course for parish Catechists. It will provide trained adults to support religious education in our parishes. The course begins on Sat. Sept. 30 in St. Eunan's College, Letterkenny. If interested, contact Fr. Farrell or Fr. Devlin.

Irish Blood Transfusion Service - your opportunity to give blood in Carndonagh Community School on Tues. Sept 12 & Wed. Sept. 13 from 3pm.- 4:45pm. & 7pm.- 9:30pm.

Traditional Music Classes will recommence in Tirconaill House, Ballyliffin on Wed. Sept. 13. Beginners 5pm. - Seniors 6pm.

Victim Support is holding an information night in the Lake of Shadows Hotel, Buncrana on Tues. Sept. 12 at 8pm. Victim Support is a community based organisation with trained volunteers who offer emotional and practical support to victims of crime.

Clonmany Parent and Toddler Group will re-open in St. Mary's Hall on Tues. Sept. 12 from 11am. - 1pm. All pre-school children and their parents welcome. Come along and enjoy the fun. £1.50 per family. Refreshments provided.

Clan Clonmany: A 2 night/day course in Découpage will begin on Sept. 18 /22 subject to demand. Découpage is the art of building a picture in layers resulting in a 3D effect. Registration in the Day Centre at 7:45pm. on Tues. Sept. 12. Further details from May at 76193. A few places remain in the morning session of Beauty course. Contact 76636.

Carndonagh Brass Band - practice starts in the Community School, Carndonagh, on Mon. Sept. 11 at 8pm. New members welcome - young or old. Foyle Hospice invites you to take part in Ireland's biggest coffee morning on Thurs. Sept. 21 to help raise funds. The idea behind Ireland's biggest coffee morning is very simple. The Hospice asks individual hosts and companies to invite friends and colleagues for coffee. For each cup of coffee served they ask for a donation of £1. The Hospice need as many people as possible to join as Coffee Morning Hosts. Gatherings of any size are more than welcome - from 2 - 2000 and can be held anywhere - at home, in clubs, schools, workplaces, the possibilities are endless. A pack containing Bewleys coffee, posters, guest invitations, host guidelines and collection box will be sent to all hosts. Weekly Bulletin - All notices for the Bulletin should be handed in no later than Thursday morning. Also names of those whose anniversaries occur and wish to be prayed for at weekend Masses.

Action Inishowen requires volunteers for information provision. If you are interested in becoming a part time information provider on a voluntary basis, either mornings or afternoons once a week, we would like to hear from you. The necessary training which includes 8 modules will be provided by Comhairle through the Donegal Information Service. Community Information Service: The Community Information Service being provided by Action Inishowen will resume after the summer recess on two mornings a week only, until further notice. The Information Officer will be present on Tuesdays and Fridays from 9:30am. - 1pm. starting on Tues. Sept. 12. Regrettably, queries will not be dealt with outside the appointed times.
